A short film about the unification of Italy, seen through the eyes of the people of L’Aquila.
What truly holds the country together, if not the fragility of its landscape, the instability of its territory, and the fleeting nature of its infrastructure?

The thread connecting Northern and Southern Italy is also — and unfortunately to a great extent — represented by the victims of long-foretold natural disasters, by innocent deaths, and by those responsible who remain unpunished.
As the green, white, and red of the Italian flag dissolve and separate, these themes preserve a unified vision, unfolding through a sequence of images in moments charged with emotion. In this short film, Animammersa and Luca Cococcetta offer their deeply personal interpretation of the cultural and political cohesion of Italy.

MEMORITER is produced by Animammersa and Visioni Future.
